50% merlot, 25% cabernet franc, and 25% cabernet sauvignon, blended from a GREAT vintage. After rigorous sorting at harvest, they are given 48 hours of cold soaking followed by 18 months ageing in oak barrels, which adds depth, roundness, and complexity. The family has a history that puts them in the area for some 500 years, and are well-known for their fabulous wine-making. The tradition definitely shows in the quality of this wine.
